2021, Domaine Henri Magnien, CORTON, 'Les Lolieres', Grand CruThe 2021 Corton Les Grandes Lolires Grand Cru, matured in two thirds new oak, has a lovely, open knit and expressive bouquet with fragrant red berry fruit, wild hedgrerow and rose petal scents very seductive and more Cte de Nuits in style. The palate is medium bodied with supple tannins. Fresh and vibrant, the oak is neatly integrated with a slightly candied finish. Perhaps a little more "modern" in style, yet this is, undeniably, deftly crafted. 91
