MARIPOSA & MONTEREY: 1952 - Pre-maiden plan '55Matson Lines: A fold out deck plan (20" by 25") dated November 1955, a year before the MARIPOSA and MONTEREY took their maiden voyage for Matson. The ships were launched in 1952 as C 4 freighters but were soon bought by Matson for conversion. The plans show five decks. Very good condition.

The ship was not profitable for HAL either so was chartered to Royal Netherlands Steamship for Caribbean cruises
