Antique Sewing Jewelry or Trinket Box Wood Brass Metal and Celluloid Victorian Original Late 1800's Lined with Green SilkThis is a beautiful original antique Victorian jewelry, sewing or trinket box from the late 1800's. It is quite ornate with metal and celluloid accents. It is lined inside with green silk and the inside of the top lid is padded for brooches, pins or sewing pins. It measures 22cm in length, 15cm in width and 9cm in height. One of the metal hinges is loose and just needs 2 small nails or screws to secure. Other than that, it is in good condition for

It has the Lairg crest on the front

It has a couple of marks on the corner as photographed but it is still in very good condition inside and out

This is an original vintage cash box from the 1920's - 1930's

It can also be used as a jewelry or craft supplies box

It does not have a bottom base so I assume it is a display stand for a vase or other object

It comes on a pink velvet background and in a gold gilt frame

The countryside is in the background

It has a small chip on the bottom underside of the rim

It would be beautiful to get the top engraved as a wedding present or special gift

Shipping is quite expensive as the frame is very large and very heavy so will be much cheaper if you do not need the frame
