London Philharmonic Orchestra/ David Murphy - Shankar: SukanyaSukanya is Ravi Shankar's only opera. He began writing it at the age of 90 and it was left incomplete at the time of his death in 2012. It was painstakingly completed and orchestrated by David Murphy, a long time collaborator of Shankar's, with the help of Shankar's wife Sukanya and daughter Anoushka.
